The urban disposition came from respecting the existing situation, planning documentation and logic of the future context. The basic intention orientates on the functional sense in achieving an extension intervention that does not physically require radical changes in the volume of the existing object, on the contrary, the visions were endangered and the old-new relationship itself. The requested contents are arranged on floors, making each individual an independent entity. Nevertheless, they are at the same time clearly and unequivocally connected.
Atrium as a binding internal element of old and new part of the object and it is only proposed to the level of the inner ring of the existing object which made possible to completely avoid the intervention on the volume of the present roof. In the basement floor the new city exhibition space is proposed along with deposit book area. Materialization is one of the most sensitive elements of adaptation in a historical context. Therefore, it is modern, but at the same time not to violates existing contextual relationships. The lining of fiber cement plate of artificial texture of wood is giving a warm coloring according to the immediate environment.
If we present architecture as a spatial and design text, respecting the opinion that the good architecture is the sort to say '' speaking architecture '', consequently the established connection is a type of communication with future users, achieving the effect that books make the future readers watching their wrapper. The general object suggests, but it does not reveal completely content of the interior.
